Unreleased games. You know, those ones that were worked on, but were canceled for whatever reason.
There's alot of them out there, and some of them were very very great and would probably have been a big hit if it was released.
One of these games would be; Star Fox 2 on the Super Nintendo.
The reason it was canceled was that Nintendo wanted to develop their newest Star Fox game on the most advanced console they had available in that period of time to continue the trend of "groundbreaking graphics" with Star Fox, which was the quickly upcoming Nintendo 64. So they canceled Star Fox 2 just before it was ready for mass production, and developed Star Fox 64 with many ideas used from Star Fox 2, like land vehicles, All-Range mode, charging your lasers with a lock on, a targeting recticle, the Star Wolf team, Andross' first form in the final fight, and, the mobile base.
However, the ROMs of the game have been leaked and fan-translated.

Another (technically) unreleased game is Dinosaur Planet on the Nintendo 64, which was eventually taken and made into Star Fox Adventures for the GameCube.
