Best game stories? - Games - Facepunch Forum

Looking for a new game, something with an excellent story, and I was hoping that it wouldn't be based around guns ( I just played through Heavy Rain) Anybody know any stand-out games for the PS3?

Mafia 2 has an alright story, although predictable.

You can also try Fahrenheit (Europe) or Indigo Prophecy (U.S) for the PS2 which is also by the same makers of heavy rain if you haven't yet

It's a damn brilliant game and if you've followed the story it's fine, but the story is so fucked up with millions of arching plot-lines and random shit that it'd be hard to follow unless you're a fan of the series. That being said, it's still fun as hell even if you don't understand the story. If you do, then you are just getting an extra.

Uncharted 2 does have a pretty good story.

God of War does not have a good story. Other than the first game, Kratos is a problem child with the worlds greatest tantrum.
