From the 1st of November I will not be having internet for 6 Weeks (ISP told me it would take them 4-6 Weeks to get me the Internet back) and most of my games are pretty much online. At the moment I play World of Warcraft / Civilizatio 5. And both of those requires internet access to play.
I am going to reach out to the FP gaming community what games I should purchase for the 1½ month of no internet. Any good games coming out in the recent future?
Dont say Reach, I got it and played it ALOT.
download some freeware games like iji and spelunky.
Minecraft singleplayer, Facade, Torchlight
I am going to use my Playstation 3 and Xbox 360, I havnt used them in a while(atleast not the PS3) and I would like my Collection to grow.
I am thinking of New Vegas(I would buy it for PC) but it wont last me 200-300 Hours.

I already got Minecraft. I am hooked on the SMP.
oblivion dragon age psychonauts red dead mass effect 2 dead rising 2
I was without internet for well over a month when I moved and I missed the launch of Bad Company 2 which I had pre-ordered through steam :smithicide:
Dead Rising 2.
Caesar III, StarCraft, Pharaoh, Zeus, Emperor: Rise of the Middle Kingdom
If singleplayer games that take up a lot of time are what you're looking for, then you'll probably do best with sandbox/rpg type games like GTA, Elder Scrolls, Fallout, Saints Row, etc.
Enviro-Bear 2000 just for some little fun on the PC

Also, Arma 2. The editor is pretty awesome.

I am missing the release of Cataclysm.. I feel for you mate.
I have played through Oblivion and FO3 several times. I loved Dead Rising 1, might check out Nr 2.
Can't you launch steam in offline mode to play Civ V?
Download a shit ton of movies and music.
I'd get Dragon Age.
Just Cause 2
If you're going to be using your Xbox try to find TES3: Morrowind somewhere, if not then just go with the more-casualised Oblivion.
Still need more ideas guys. I am quite clueless.
This should help you a lot if you have an android, you can look for other kinds for other phones. I used it when my internet went down for a month. connections not great and you have to buy it but it is very useful.

That game could definitely keep me entertained for months :v:
you can put steam into offline mode you know.
so, you can still play all your steam games if you want.
Alright, Thanks.
Dead Rising 2 looks awesome, so I will be buying Dead Rising 2, Fallout New Vegas and I will continue dominating Japan on Civilization 5.

Well you need to be online to play offline, ironic yes.
Fallout 3, and complete everything in the game twice. You'll hate it but you have something to do.
Download all your games on steam and complete them to the finest details.
Download Happy Wheels and open it with a Flash player :v:
Nah. Just get a shit-ton of freeware games while the time lasts.
So you can test out all games time by time.
(also: Dungeon Keeper 2, Populous 3 both freeware)
Mount and blade and M&B:Warband, my preference is warband's singleplayer, if you want it to last, download the mod that allows really high unit counts, makes playthroughs more fun in my opinion, and a few singleplayer mods for variety, the original mount and blade has a better mod library at the moment though.
If you like RPGs, Dragon Age lasts quite a long time, not my kind of game personally, but people who enjoy RPGs more than me hold it in high regard.
As others have said, minecraft single player is really fun, Mass Effect 1 and 2 have great stories, can be picked up cheap now, and encourage repeated runs of the game, you probably won't see most of the content for a fair bit. Dwarf Fortress and Liberal Crime Squad are very fun, free, and HARD (LCS less so) very good roguelikes. On that note, Rogue Survivor is also very good.
Dead Rising 1 or 2, 1 can be picked up cheaper, but 2 has many improvements and is a great single player game, well, both are. Saints Row 1&2 are also very good games, offer loads of game time too if you go for absolute completion, and they have very funny stories. Red Dead Redemption has an amazing single player game too.
Oblivion, Fallout 3, pre-order Fallout New Vegas, Minecraft, Dead Rising 1 and 2. Those are just a few suggestions.
You are screwed no internet for 6 weeks!
Fable: The Lost Chapters, Amnesia: The Dark Descent.
The best of the replayable games:
Oblivion
Morrowind
Fallout 1, 2 and 3
Dragon Age
Mass Effect 1 and 2 (Two is better for replayability IMO)
Garry's Mod
Fable TLC as well
Crysis is a good entertaining game try it. if you can.
