that's the point of DEFCON demo.
It's almost full game, you just can't play most gamemodes and you have limited player count, as far as I know.
Tell me the server adress I could join. If/when you set it up.

Get Blacklight: Tango Down.
It's on sale on Steam, costs 7,50€. It's definately worth the price. It had a problem with the amount of players playing, but now that the sale started, you'll get a group of people to play with pretty fast.

As you can see i had to give myself some TNT and Water (I normally do not cheat!) But i had to make an awesome waterfall nearby the Kingdom
You could blaze through the original Half Life and its expansions. I'm doing so right now, it's pretty fun.
If you have them, that is. If not, you could play Stalker. Playing that game makes hours feel like minutes sometimes.

huh? Ow right, yes i still have all the old HL games. But i played them all 2 weeks ago, and it was damn fun!
(I even managed to run the old version of Gmod on HL)
You should try WWII Online. It has a free 14 day trial. It is very fun if you like the Battlefield series.
