Are there any modders looking for an artist? (concept art) - Games

I just joined facepunch for the second time. I joined a few years back and decided to return to see if there was anyone out there who had any ideas for a mod or something. I think I am pretty good at sketching and I would enjoy working on a horror mod. I am in highschool right now and I am trying to build up a portfolio for college, as I am interested in game art, also my life is pretty empty at the moment. It is the summer and I have nothing to keep myself occupied, no friends (that I am interested in hanging out with, anyway), girlfriends, or school. I have no job as of right now, I would like to get one soon, and I have no means of transportation (no license, getting one hopefully Tuesday). I am not sure if my punctuation or grammar helped me much in this paragraph, and I hope it wasn't too much of an eyesore. Sorry for going into my personal problems. I don't know if I posted in the right section either. Feel free to let me know. Had to edit this a bit, posted in the wrong section. Also, I would work on any sort of mod, it doesn't have to be horror. I am sure posting some previous work would help me out, but I don't have any worth posting, I may draw something and post it if this thread lives long enough.

I will post up some work tomorrow. It's 2:04 AM here and I would need to first of all draw some things and then scan them, email them to myself, and post them. But I will post some up tomorrow if you want me to.

Draw some Modern-esk architecture or half-demolished slums/canals - that should get some people interested.

Put out some examples of your works, not just concept art, but art in general.

Eh, fuck it. I'm gonna wind up loading trucks the rest of my life or something like that. I think I'm gonna be kicked out of my house soon. I think I'm fucked. I can't impress you tards so I'm not gonna even try anymore. I think maybe what this thread should have been about is asking to help me start or give me some sort of advice. Right now I don't have the materials for digital art. I have no money and I think I'm gonna be put out on my own soon. I'm only 16 right now. I can't find any sort of positive reinforcement anywhere, not even within my immediate family and right now I can't see myself working anywhere other than Home Depot or some shit like that. I don't even think they really want me around because my dad divorced my mom a while back and I believe I'm just the product of his failed marriage and a stepping stone for him to use to raise my step mom's kids and fix the mistakes he made raising me.

You're 16 and the world might seem to be against you, but what you simply do is tell the world to fuck itself and do whatever you damn please. You want to draw concept art? Draw some damn concept art then, Head over to the [url=http://www.facepunch.com/threads/1093047-TF2-Emporium-35]TF2 emporium[/url] and say that you will be willing to draw up some sketches for guns/hats. Just because right now you don't have anything like a wacom tablet, that shouldn't stop you wanting to be helpful and sketches will certainly help you get somewhere, as by doing nothing at all you're destined to load trucks. I was 16 when I started texturing, now I have 3 items in TF2. If I can do something like that, anyone can.
