I fail to see how it's a ripoff. They're both sci-fi action soundtracks, they're bound to have similar inspirations. You're daft if you think Mass Effect was the first thing to use that style of music.

It doesn't sample the LBP theme. I checked using the best stuff I have for audio. I could be wrong.

It's probably not on purpose, C418 might of just made a tune that sounded similar. A bit like how the theme to Space Harrier sounds a bit like the Theme to Blake's 7 at some parts:
