These are hilarious. I highly advise you guys watch this in your spare time.
It's like a blocky Shaun of the Dead! That's why I love BlueXephos (especially he and his friend's Magicka playthrough).
I wanna know what recording software they use, how do they get such good quality?
I wanna know what recording software they use, how do they get such good quality?
It's this wonderful program called FRAPS Amazing what reading someone's youtube page can tell you huh?
I record games in 1280x720 resolution using FRAPS and edit using a variety of video-editing software. All audio is recorded in Audacity or Ventrilo. Most of our recording is done live, although occasionally we fix a few bits of messy audio in post.
I've watched every single one of their minecraft videos. Seriously good stuff.
I don't exactly understand the premise here, is this a work of fiction or are they really being stalked by a mysterious guy called Israphel? I suppose I should watch the first 20, but if they're not good like you say... Or is it both at once? [editline]24th February 2011[/editline] So are they going into these scenarios not knowing what's going on, because they certainly don't sound like they're acting...

They don't explain what's going on so you don't need to know. You'll find out as you watch.

The characters interactions are most likely organic, however. I'm not sure if Simon and Lewis know everything about the characters and places they encounter; they certainly know the basic premises of their adventure.
Yeah I've seen that story stuff from the first season now, and it looks like they're genuinely going through a story that their friends have planned out for them. Which is awesome. I hope Minecraft eventually gets an adventure mode like this.
I wish I was half as funny as those guys. I sometimes cry from laughter from their commentary.
MORE! Mooooooooore!
Can't wait for part 12 now...
I just finished watching these a couple days ago, gotta say, they make one damn of a funny series.

They know they're playing a game, but only the Dungeon Master (and his 'NPC' lackeys) know where they are going. It probably started out as a prank by a friend, but once they realized its potential, they turned it into a full fledged RPG.

Where the players are from Toon/Paranoia and everything else is from Dungeons and Dragons.
PART 12 SUCKAS !!
No wonder it took so long... NOW WHERE'S 13!!?
In due time, dear child. In due time. Also, this is a riveting adventure, and the voice-acting is top-Notch.

I discovered the Yogscast because Totalbiscuit played Magicka with them, and from then on I've basically been absorbing their content like a sponge. Some kind of fancy happiness osmosis.
Yep, I started watching and couldn't stop. It's like Whose Line Is It Anyway clips, I just couldn't pull my ass away from them.
Still not sure if the israphel stuff at the start is scripted though :v: I'm sure at least one of them didn't know about him(and his traps :v: )

Honeydew should have won the competition imo.
Honeydew should have won the competition imo.
He won three out of the four rounds. Not like it matters, Bruno was holding a pickaxe without a skin. His arm was held slightly forward. They do the same thing with armor skins, as in Granny Bacon's and Banjo's case.
