Anyone here heard of Tatsumaki: Land at War? It's an upcoming MMORPG that has been in development since 2007. It's set in feudal Japan and going to have a very open game universe where "you can do just about anything". You can pre-order the game now, and money goes towards development. If you pre-order the $300 version of the game you get a lifetime membership and when the game comes out you'll never have to pay a monthly fee like other players would. You can check out the game here:

this looks horrible
Very pretty website with near zero game content. I am not hopeful.
Pay 300$ for a game that uses clay renders in it's gallery? Hahaha oh wow.
Looks like another one of these cheap indie games, except worse
And I hope they're not for real with that clay bridge, because it has like a fuckton of geometry that it doesn't really need.
And their forum is just hideous. I haven't seen so many ads on a porn site.
Thats for a lifetime subscription.
Plus if you pay that, you can create your own item that goes in the game. Pretty cool pre-order feature, but with this low amount of content, I wouldn't take a chance unless you are really rich.
But you get the same features for paying 40$, though.

If they release content, it looks good, and it isn't weaboo, then its got my buy.

Apparently it advertises as being a historical version of fuedal japan, so that helps the "not weaboo" section out.

In it's current state it does.
Using clay renders to show your game shows either that they have nothing to show or their website management skills are terrible.
I have no idea what this game is and all I'm seeing is a paragraph of text and a few renders.
Apparently there is a working beta but no gameplay or screenshots at all.
I'm pretty sure this game is vaporware, the forums are dead and its been in "beta" since 2005.
