I can say for myself a lot of money! I think i have spent in total about 500 dollars. Just for some bullshit like more exp for a week or just to make more in-game money.
Just about 3 months worth of playing WoW, about $45.
Honestly? Only whatever it costs for 1 month of Eve.
Never really got into MMO's like everyone else.
100$ of my dad's money
now that greedy bastard wont give me his credit card anymore :colbert:
I wouldn't say I've wasted any. But whatever $15 times however many months are in 4 years.
I've spent like $600 on monthly fees back when I played Ragnarok(since I had played for like 3 or 4 years). I've also spent like $150 on Nexon Cards for Mabinogi(the 2 cats and Horse that were gotten were worth it damn it, and I made my brothers day by gettin' him a Ostrich). Lastly, I plunked down $10 on paid points for Anarchy Online. Not a single thing you can get for paid points in AO is game breaking or imparts any kind of an unfair advantage.
Between cash shop shit for Mabinogi and monthly fees probably around $400 or so. Could be more.
A lot of that is from buying the actual game and paying for the first month or two before I quit. Most notably Warhammer Online which I was incredibly hyped for, played it for about a month, and quit. Same with Age of Conan.
I think about 90 Euro for EVE. Maybe less, i bought the game and one gtc.
Earned about 100 $
LUCKER BASTARD
:argh:
€ 298.77 on WoW since late 2006. Have really paid for any other MMO, yeah bought EvE for €2.90 and played the free month out and haven't subscribed since.
Been playing world of warcraft since release to last year in august, even bought wotlk:ce.
Bought the aion:ce too.
playing mmos since the days of Neocron 1 and runescape classic's first arrival, i've probably spent thousands on subs :(
I don't know, a shitloads atleast.
I've probably made a profit. The only money I've spent was on buying Guild Wars and its expansion packs, but I've made hundreds more from other games.
I've only spent $45 on Global Agenda. So, $45 total.
$80 on Heroes of Three Kingdoms.
about $350 and many different mmos.
Too much.
like 10 bucks on 1 month of being a member for runescape.
This type of thing is one of the many reasons Guild Wars is awesome, and why Guild Wars 2 will be fucking amazing.
probably like 36$ CAD on nexon cash for MS... and 5$ for a month of Dead frontier gold membership. and 5$ for a week of runescape members to play with my friend.
None. :smug:
$30, I played 3 months of WoW and got bored of it (I think the first month was free).
I decided I'd do the math in my post.
For the past 4 years I've always had a subscription to at least one MMO. On average, that's about 14.99 a month. That's about $180 a year. So for four years, that's 720 dollars.
I've bought World of Warcraft, which is 19.99. I bought both expansions when they came out (I believe they were 39.99 each). That is 820 so far.
I bought EQ2 and all the expansions (including the recent one), so that's another $100 I believe. That's 920 so far.
I bought Aion, which is 39.99. That's 960.
I bought Lord of the Rings (Siege Mirkwood Special Edition or something if I remember correctly) and that was about 29.99. That's 990.
I bought Guild Wars (19.99), Guild Wars Factions (14.99?), Guild Wars Nightfall (29.99). That's 1055.
I think that's about it. $1055 plus tax, which is 13% where I live. So that's about 1200 total.
$1200
4 years of WoW with 3 accounts and expensions for all of them, never realised it then but wow thats a lot of money.
Also payed for odd months of premium for Tibia a few times over the years :v:
$5.
