I would like too see more blocks, weapons, redstone circuits and much more industrial elements so it never get boring. And you guys?
Just play tekkit and you have all that.
Personally I don't like tekkit. I feel it's just too advanced and complicated for some stuff. To each their own I guess. But personally I would like a proper working train cart system thing. And bigger cart curves. Like not one block, but maybe 4 block curves. I say this because carts spin round way too fast.
More variety in ores.
I'd like a "sucker" type block. you can predetermine an amount of the blocks it sucks that are in front of it, and it's redstone so you just pull a leaver.
I'd like a better combat system. One where mobs telegram their attacks and you do more than just spam clicks. The bow and arrow feels really good but swords are just lacking.
I want to be able to rebind sprint. Double tapping W is just terrible, and if you accidentaly do it twice you sperg out, causing my jerkwad [del]friends[/del] to relentlessly make fun of me in games of parkour. Why not default to Shift, like every other game does?
10 times more minerals and ores to mine. Tired of having just iron, gold and diamond with a ton of cobble. [editline]12th August 2013[/editline] Get tin and copper and have it where you can smelt them together to form brass.
I would personally like a few more ranged weapons, like possibly a crossbow and a musket of some sort. A new melee weapon would be cool, too.
I think dangerous animals like bears and sharks or something could be cool.
That creates bronze though. Brass is copper and zinc.
Whoops. I always get them mixed up. [editline]13th August 2013[/editline]
I think dangerous animals like bears and sharks or something could be cool.
I always thought bears would be common sense with caves. They need an hostile mob that isn't supernatural. There's wolves, but you gotta piss them off first.
- Better behaving water. - Higher resolution textures without the need for mods. - A higher village count and the ability to do quests for villagers. - More types of weapons: For example the ability to use your axe as a viable weapon. - One handed weapons - Shields - Multiple instances like "The End" with different kinds of bosses. Upon completion they should give unique, non craftable rewards. Also the bosses should respawn so you could do it again. - Give it less of a beta/unfinished game feeling. Some items don't have a purpose yet and having them in the game is pointless. - Better in-game server moderator/OP tools - Make Minecraft modular without the need of crap like Craftbukkit. Some other: - Stop using Java as platform. - Get a bigger development team together.
- Stop using Java as platform.
Wouldn't they have to recode the entire game?
Wouldn't they have to recode the entire game?
If so, they would do the right thing from the beginning.
Mod API, because mods are where the real fun is. But it's a shame that almost every update breaks mods.
Better use of redstone mechanics
-Make it so that enderman can pick up stuff like they used to, it was hardly a threat and was nerfed because of whining.
Remove Endermen. They're a crappy mob made during the slenderman hype to make minecraft look like it was "up to date" with the internet. Could have added something so much more and better stuff and they added a teleporting crap mob.
I think dangerous animals like bears and sharks or something could be cool.
sharks are the scariest fuckin thing in games and i'd like to have a reason to avoid water, it'd be cool to have sharks and considering how big the oceans are, imagine a kraken of some sort as a boss, with sunken ruins similar to strongholds. and if they were to flesh out water, they would have to add scuba diving helmets and maybe potions that let you breathe underwater. it'd just be so great. bears are cool too, i don't know why they're not in the game already
Stop updating so that mods don't break all the time and mod creators don't give up. Minecraft is only really worth playing for mods nowadays.
sharks are the scariest fuckin thing in games
this right here, it would make having to travel through water intense as fuck.
Remove Endermen. They're a crappy mob made during the slenderman hype to make minecraft look like it was "up to date" with the internet.
The endermen look more like the dark ones from metro 2033 than slenderman anyways Why not just rename them and give them them different abilities, as well as removing teleport?
Slenderman and if you remove the teleport and rename them you can just remove them all together. Minecraft need more natural wildlife and fauna
Slenderman and if you remove the teleport and rename them you can just remove them all together. Minecraft need more natural wildlife and fauna
Minecraft needs an aggressive mob that is always aggressive. There's wolves, but they only aggro if you piss them off. I'd also like to see birds geared like how bats are, except in daylight and open areas. It'd give more flavor to the world, make it feel more lively. [editline]19th August 2013[/editline] I'd like to see more biome-specific mobs, too. Bears in forest biomes, jaguars in jungle biomes, sharks and whales in the ocean, and camels in the desert.
Very rare meteor strikes that vary in size randomly, from 1x1 but no bigger than 4x4 blocks. The crater would be about double the size and you can mine the space rock at the impact site and find really rare ores. I suppose you could make super strong armour with the ore but it would take forever to collect it all due to the rareness of the strikes. [editline]20th August 2013[/editline] Also it would come down at a random angle and the area would smoke for a few days so you have a chance of finding it. Smoke trail would linger in the sky for a little while too.

Seeing hell will freeze over before Minecraft is Re-coded in something not java i would atleast be satisfied with the networking re-coded. Seriously arnt we still using the same code from Alpha for a majority of it? Spigot makes a good example of how much improvement you get from re-working it. However spigot is ineffective with Forge (MCPC)
Add more sea life and dynamic oceans in general; - Plants - Monsters - Critters - Caves with perhaps chests - Ruins of lost cities With those helmet enchants you can stay under water a reasonable long time. Long enough to see it's just a bare wasteland with dirt, gravel, clay and rock. Nothing else. Also, ambient sounds per biome. Sound of birds and animals in forests, wind in snow biomes and on mountains etc.
Here's what I want to see: Multi-core support. C'mon Notch, multi-core CPUs were commonplace when you started developing Minecraft, there's absolutely NO reason at all to not integrate support.
Minecraft needs to further itself in both directions of its name. Mining - more ores and materials to mine Craft - more crafting of things. I would like to see 'complex crafts', like things that require you to craft components first, then craft them together. Sort of like the carrot on a stick, where you have to craft the fishing rod first, then craft it with the carrot. Maybe make horse armor by putting two pairs of leg armor next to each other and so forth. I think it would add more to the game and the complexity would make it challenging, but not tedious (depending on the item, most likely though).
