Today, I was trying to play CS:S online. For the first time. I joined a server in de_dust2. the first round went well, everything was smooth. I managed to get a few kills. On the second round, it started to lag. I can't even put silencer on my USP. Then, after like 30 seconds, a message poped up "Disconnected and banned". Someone banned me, I even didn't do anything! I didn't cheat, I don't even know how to cheat.
So, how could I get away from this problem?
And one more thing, if you install skins to CS:S, will people have to download my skins before they can enter my game?

Stop playing that server and No, skins are client side.
I did try playing on one server, and a message popped up saying that I was banned :'(

What about scripts? will it affect people?
maybe you have vac ban ?
People don't see your skins, people see the default skins (VALVe made)
And no it isn't a VAC ban or you couldn't connect to any VAC-secure servers.

Then you are only banned on that server. Just find a differant one.
You got banned off the server because your ping was too high. Look fora server with a ping lower than ~300.

If a client has a high ping, the server will have to wait for your packet, thus causing lag for everyone.

It's a pain in the ass for people to play with someone with a ping that high..

Notice the bars on the right of the names. Most games use this, the more bars the lower the ping.

This is what CS:S uses. It uses actual ping/latency numbers, the lower the number the better.
