Was there a time when call of duty mw2 was good If there was please reply about all the positive things were good :)
Nope.
Shit community =/= shit game. Retards running about with commando/OMA tubes/quickscopers ruin the game.
I enjoy the gameplay and find it addicting. It's just that there's always been some massively unfair things, as well as too many glitches and, really, the game's just unbalanced. It's always been that way.
no, someone hated it, and then it went on to bandwagon hating it from there on :/ nothing really wrong with the game.
Nope.
So what annoyed you about it
First month or so. Then everyone stopped trying new weapons, and stuck to the stupidly overpowered tactics such as tac-knifing and noob tubing. It is a very fun game that is plagued by a few balance issues that could easily be fixed.
no, someone hated it, and then it went on to bandwagon hating it from there on :/ nothing really wrong with the game.
lol
i like spec ops
It's a :bandwagon:
no, someone hated it, and then it went on to bandwagon hating it from there on :/ nothing really wrong with the game.
There's plenty that could have been much better about the game.
I had some fun with it, then my Steam account got hacked and someone played it up to rank 70 on the highest prestige, ruined it for me really.
It's a :bandwagon:
Far from. The overpowered weapons and shitty community hold it back from being a good game. Great with friends though.
no, someone hated it, and then it went on to bandwagon hating it from there on :/ nothing really wrong with the game.
I'm sorry but there is some serious balancing issues in there
I had some fun with it, then my Steam account got hacked and someone played it up to rank 70 on the highest prestige, ruined it for me really.
I joined a Hacked server without realizing it, got me to 70, that ruined it for me, and I don't want to prestige either.
Agreed with the bandwagon folks, I really never understood the mass love for COD4 that translated into mass hate for MW2. They are similar in almost every way. MW2 had a much better campaign, but the multiplayer was a little unbalanced (Obnoxious killstreaks and IWNet). Not as good as CoD4, but far better than most people imagine it as.

The premise was terrible. In MW2, every mission is some sort of bullshit "herp derp special forces" spiel , and the constant viewpoint switch negated any meaningful character development. Sure, Soap was turned into a fairly badass character, but then at the end he's just some faceless mute with a gun again. At least Call of Duty 4's campaign made some sort of statement- because the previous games were all about being a grunt and fighting as a regular soldier, being an SAS agent kind of said "Hey, wars are not all about the frontlines anymore- special forces have a much more important role now, especially because of the whole sensitive nuke issue". Modern Warfare 2 had some interesting setpieces, sure, but for the most part it's all Hollywood bullshit. Call of Duty 4 at least felt authentic.
The CoD4 campaign felt so linear. "Go to this house, kill this guy" Ok he isn't here. "Go to that house and kill that guy "Ok it was a trap "Go to this base, stop this nuke" Yay crisis averted. Also docking points for the monumental dick move of killing off the American character :frog:
mw2 is fine. the people complaining about op weapons are just mad that they get killed all the time.
I loved the campaign, I felt that it tied COD4 and MW2 really well. Spec Ops was also awesome, the echo missions on veteran were unnessearly hard but its rewarding.
The game can be really fun when you aren't noobtubed, or killed by other bullshit tactics. It's also only fun until you realise that the game developers went for a serious approach to the game.
no, someone hated it, and then it went on to bandwagon hating it from there on :/ nothing really wrong with the game.
i believe it went like this. 1.someone made a thread saying how he or she didnt like the game by pointing out the mistake's 2.everyone thought the game sucked because of all the mistakes then started :bandwagon:ing it 3.everyone started :bandwagon:ing it and then everyone hated it after [editline]06:20PM[/editline]
I loved the campaign, I felt that it tied COD4 and MW2 really well.
Or those people genuinely didn't like it, that sounds more reasonable.
Haha, no. You don't know Facepunch then. MW2 is a good game. It's just that, it's mainstream, so the people who were abused by the mainstream, of course, don't like mainstream things, including this game. By "abused by the mainstream", I mean, social outcast, etc. and considering that it's Facepunch, welllll... Also, you're probably the same way too, because MW2 is a popular game, not just in the mainstream, but even on Steam, and since FP just loves their games, it's obviously not the quality of MW2 that they hate.

When it was first announced and Activision didn't do all the shitty stuff to it, it was actually looking pretty good.
First few weeks of released where no one knew the cheap weapons and were still low levels.
Fun to play with friends who aren't
Retards running about with commando/OMA tubes/quickscopers
What was really awesome about MW2 was the music track, I mean, come on, it was written by Hans Zimmer. The game isnt too bad, the graphics are nice, the sound is top notch, so are the animations and the gameplay is really solid. Balancing issues and IWnet ruined it however.
i actually like it, and play it often. i never play without friends though, because then it's just annoying as hell. but i love pub stomping every once in a while with a good group of friends.
