Today I bought a 2 month game card from my local Game Stop for $30. I got home and scratched off the stuff with my car keys, but it ended up scratching off some of the numbers too and i cant figure out what it says >:( So I'm pretty much just out $30 unless you guys have any suggestions. I already emailed customer support but they wont respond until tomorrow and even then i doubt that they will do anything It looks something like this: i can see the #'s but i cant understand the -'s ###########--------###### God damn
Don't scratch it so hard?
Customer support should be able to help, and you could try contacting Game Stop but I doubt they could help
I had the same thing happen to me with an iTunes gift card a while back. Although I'm unsure about Blizzard's specific policy, I know many companies can identify the card by the serial number and... Something else. I'm not sure. If I find anything on Google, though, I'll tell you. [editline]19th October 2010[/editline] Oh, here's something. You can contact billing via the telephone number on the other side of this link. Best of luck! http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=18600875118&sid=1
use a coin next time
My friend did this once. I think he just phoned Blizzard and they asked for the serial number and some other details. Best place to start anyway!
Yay! its all fixed! I called billing and they asked for all of my account info and the info on the card I bought and put the time on my account for me
Post the numbers of the card here. With only 8 numbers unknown there are only 1000000000 different variations possible.
