Not sure if there is a thread for this yet, searched and got nothing so I assume no.
So I've been aware about this for quite a while, but it seems like it's been kinda below radar if you know what I mean. Even searching for it on google I got little to say about it.
It's about time, McFly. A video game based on the Back to the Future movies is in the works.
Being developed by Telltale Games, the Back to the Future game series will include the likenesses of Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd, who portrayed the characters Marty McFly and Doc Brown in the films, which listed Steven Spielberg among the executive producers. (Lloyd will also provide his voice for the games.)
Bob Gale, who wrote the screenplays for the three films, is working with the game developers on the plot for the planned five "episodes". Telltale's recent releases include a series of Sam & Max games available for download on Xbox Live, the PlayStation Network and for computers at www.telltalegames.com.
As for the storyline, Telltale would confirm that the games would include an appearance of the DeLorean time machine and, the fictional California setting of Hill Valley. The time periods covered will include 1985 and additional characters from the movies will crop up in the game.
Intresting.
Might be alright.
oh dear
this could be good or this could be terrible
only time will tell :ohdear:

Yup
* Will include the likenesses of Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd as the characters Marty McFly and Doc Brown
* Other characters from the series will make appearances, although who knows if the actors will provide their likenesses or voices. I hope they get
Thomas F. Wilson to reprise Biff Tannen. Knowing Chrispin Glover, his appearance would probably be unlikely.
* Christopher Lloyd will also provide his voice for the games.
* Back to the Future series screenwriter Bob Gale is working with the game developers on the story
* They are planning five “episodes”.
* It will be set in the fictional California setting of Hill Valley, and will explore 1985 and additional time periods.

Basically what USA Today said but in a more organized manor

The screenwriter from the movies is writing it, honestly at this point I'm excited for the story more than the game.

I wanna see Doc and Marty accidentally finding themselves fighting in the civil war.
Just to note. They already made a Back to the Future game. SNES I think.

Medieval California?
Although that makes zero historical sense, it would be cool and would perfectly fit 90s adventure games
I've watched the AVGN of the back to the future games....This is going to be disappointing >.<
Marty leveled up !
New power obtained : parkinson's disease !
I'm more interested in the Jurassic Park game that TTG is going to do.
I'll cry if they fuck it up. There's barely a decent JP game out there.
Marty leveled up !
New power obtained : parkinson's disease !
Too soon...
Also, I'm hoping that they dont screw this up because I love those movies, except for 3, that was terrible...
So is this going to be a point n' click adventure game?
Telltale are also making a Jurassic Park game presently.
oh dear

Well I trust Telltale Games so I'm looking forward to this.

And for NES, too.
Sounds similar to the doctor who adventure games!
If its supposed to be like a sequel to Back To The Future 3, will it be akin to the short lived Back To The Future animated series or something all new?
Oh god I hate the old 8-bit games.
My brains exploded from how bad they were.
[editline]06:20PM[/editline]
I'm looking up to this game. It is made by Telltale.
TellTale makes good games.
Just to note. They already made a Back to the Future game. SNES I think.
And it was horrible, hopefully this will be good

Not all were bad, many were very good actually
So let me try this again. What time periods are we expecting? (Considering the fact that its in California)

I burst out laughing in the middle of my computer science class, everyone stared at me wondering what the fuck I was doing and when I tried to explain what was so funny, absolutely nobody (except my teacher, who is awesome) knew who or what the fuck I was talking about.
I've lost all faith in humanity.
