Its still full of bugs but its playable.
Most of the major bugs will be fixed by patches.

I didn't find any bug at all what are you guys on about.
Really there arent quite as many bugs as people let about, that is not to say there arent any ofcourse, i saw some monster get stuck in a rock about ten minnutes ago, but nothing game breaking.
The bugs aren't even that bad. It's not a perfect game, but everybody's going overboard with the whole "HOLY SHIT FUCKING GAMEBRYO APOCALYPSE OH MY GOD WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE I WASTED FIFITY FUCKING BUTASFSAFSA OH SHIT THE GAME DOESN'T EVEN WORK".
It's not even noticeable. Crashes are few and far between, if at all.
Can't possibly be worse than Fo3 was at release... or any of the usual Obsidian/black isle/Bioware releases who we all know are notorious for containing a record amount of bugs at each release. When i decide wether or not to buy their games, i always consider this and keep in mind that what they don't fix will be done by modders. Gonna buy this.
So, the state is probably broken as hell but guaranteed to improve if i know Gamebryo engine and Obsidian... which i do.

Just buy it!
Updates are free. Why would you wait with buying it?
The only crash problem I have with it is that it crashes on startup 9 in every ten times, give or take.

I personally love Alpha Protocol, and have never had a single bug with it, so I don't know what all the hate on the game is about

the fact that, just as any game that group of people (Black Isle, Obsidian) make, it's broken as fuck for weird as hell reasons for insanely random people. These guys couldn't QA or code properly to save their life.
You and me are lucky to have their games going fine, others are not.
The game is alright if you got past Fallout 3.

Played it for about 3 hours without a single lock up or crash.
Some of you guys just have bad luck it seems.
It's hilarious because you hope the bugs would be gone from a game with bethesda's name on it

My only save is in The Thorn, where I crash whenever I load.
It's still a bit buggy but playable. Once , a whole horde of night stalkers vanished behind me mysteriously , and one of the giant ants on my "clear the road" quest went underground. Had to cheat to kill them.
My game wasn't saving properly a while ago, but the most recent update fixed things up for me.
I crashed whenever I tried to access my Pipboy. Redownloading as we speak.
I think they should have developed it for a bit longer by the sounds of it. I'd like to buy it, but I don't think I want to knowing I might have a lot of trouble playing it.
I've not got it myself...actualy I have no intention of buying it, call me crazy.
From what I hear though all these bugs are being collected from various websites (although I doubt it) and it's all being fixed.
I guess they've just shoved the game out and want the community to see what is wrong, although a beta test does the same thing. Maybe the offical game release is some sort of open beta.
I am still mad at Bethesda for using Gamebyro engine. :colbert:
So outdated and old. It looks nice, but everything else is yuck to me.
Played for five hours today and haven't crashed yet. I've had a few bugs (like people getting stuck) but nothing major.
