No but seriously I agree, at least play something like CS1.6, Starcraft or Quake 3 if you really want to go for professional gaming (MLG does have Starcraft 2, but they are, like, not exactly the top, more like the videogame equivalent of a small town's football team while the Korean tournaments are the World Cup).
