This server is a new server that i was introduced to by my friend. I played a server like this one a few years back and really liked it. But somehow the server was shut down and i have been looking for one like it ever since. Then today i was introduced to this awsome server that is just like this one.

I'm not making a profit off of this all funds will go to the server.
The point in advertising it is to get people to come on to the server.
The core is Arcemu, no 4.0 is not supported but you can copy your wow folder and drag 4.0 out and be just fine, I believe. If not my computer is special :3

lol, no. the EULA is the license agreement(:hurr:) and states things that you're allowed to do with the software, because you don't own the game. In the EULA it says you will not attempt to emulate emulate the game or service and that is exactly what private servers do.

Seeing as it's the license agreement and not terms of service, they can do both, sue you and close your account because private servers are technically copyright infringement.

All servers aren't the same "Mate."
Private servers generally suck. You get a much better gameplay experience on retail.

If you would've even read the third page of the complaint, it shows some developers ("fixers") being named as well. You're helping the private server owner with developing his/her server. You are hereby "acting in concert" with the Private owner "in committing the unlawful acts alleged herein."
It's not as "plain and simple" as you think it is.
Fact is, chances they'll actually come after you are one in a few billion. This however does not mean you're not violating the law.
