• Anyone want to Recruit-a-friend? (Someone just starting)

Hey guys. I was wondering if there was anyone here that was thinking of making a new account or had tried WoW, liked it, and wanted to sub that would do the Recruit-a-friend thing with me instead of just getting a regular account? How it works (You have to make a new account, can't use it on an existing trial account AFAIK): I recruit you to World of Warcraft We play together and get 3x experience from mob kills and quest reward EXP We can summon each other every half hour (or hour, can't remember which) giving us 4x hearthstones or whatever Any 'rested' status you gain will not be used while we play together, so when we can no longer level together (I think it stops at a certain level) you have a huge amount of rested saved up! Downsides: Can't get the 3x Experience if you play alone Bonus: If you buy 2 months of sub time when you subscribe I get a special mount. Do that and I'll buy you gear until level like 30 or 40 or something I dunno.
Oh look this thread again
How many of these threads are made a week? Seriously.
I don't know, how many? I'm honestly looking for someone to play with but I bloody hate leveling new characters and it takes ages without the boost.
PM sent.
"hay guys I wunt mount and fast levld chars, im not going to offer any incentive to you, e.g. help you pay for the game/sub, but I will reap the benefits while you end up with a high level char you dont know how to play because I rushed you through the majority of the learning process of the game!"
Hi! I'm illiterate and I did not even read the OP before opening my mouth and vomiting my stupid opinion everywhere. Blaaargh!
Re-read the OP you dimwit. I plan to pay for the other person's gear and I sure as hell plan to teach them the game. I'll be damned if I'll introduce another high leveled retard into this game.

While levelling you replace gear so fast that buying it is really a waste of gold.
eh. I'd rather 'waste' gold and have up to level gear than be trying to run around with gear from 10 levels ago.
When Jethro said pay for the game, he didn't mean give over some Gold ingame. rofl.
I know what he meant. If they're going to buy the game regardless of whether or not I recruit-a-friend them why should I buy it for them? It's not like they're not getting anything out of it. 3x leveling for 3 months is enough to get quite a few characters to 60/70/80 (whatever the level cap for the RAF thing is now)
you're getting 3x leveling too, and a mount and a free month of play time. you're gaining more than them and saving money. and yet offering no incentive for them to choose you. I mean, you're getting a free month, why not atleast pay for one of the months as you're getting a free 2 seater flying mount. or pay for the initial game.
Bonus: If you buy 2 months of sub time when you subscribe I get a special mount. Do that and I'll buy you gear until level like 30 or 40 or something I dunno.
"Hey! You buy the games plus expansions and get 2 months of subscription time and I get tons of high level characters and an exclusive mount! Oh, what's that? You wanted something from this? Umm, yeah, how about I buy you shitty greens from the AH that you'll out level in 10 minutes!" Every time a thread like this comes up, it's always the same shit... "Buy WoW plus playtime and I'll give you virtual items and forget about you in 3 months!" Why can't people at least buy vanilla WoW for their new "friend"...?

Yeah well, I was gonna reply to every part of his post, but then common sense showed me that he's bad at WoW and needs help leveling, so I cut it out :( [editline]29th October 2010[/editline] btw wanna raf?
Only if you buy everything then I'll come and play when I want, buy you some shitty greens and forget you in three months.
oh nvm then :(
silly chirno WoW is for humans not fairies
My buddy recruited me, very nice. Level 42 in 3 days and he's giving me 2k gold. Pm me if u want to be recruited and leveled.

He wants to RAF he must be bad at playing. No, I'm not bad at WoW. I just bloody hate leveling new characters. It's boring without someone to play with, but grouping at low levels gimps you because you lose half the XP from killing shit. I would buy their game for them but you know what, I don't have the fucking money for it. There's a reason I'm trying to get free sub time. Not everyone can afford to throw money around. Virtual shit is all I have to give.
It's called recruit a friend, not recruit a random person you've never met before. Go ask a friend to try out WoW, sucker someone into it, that's what I've done with my previous RAFs.
No one I know IRL is that big of a gamer. I had one friend that used to play but he doesn't want to anymore (had multiple 80's one of each class so I doubt there's anything he'd want to do in the game lol)

I've been looking for a job, they don't just appear out of nowhere and I live in a very small town with very small towns around me. And I barely play WoW right now anyway. Leveling alone is boring.
I've been looking for a job, they don't just appear out of nowhere and I live in a very small town with very small towns around me.
Hear this all the time "can't find a job cause my town is small" or "nothing is near me I live in the middle of nowhere".
And I barely play WoW right now anyway. Leveling alone is boring.
Then play your 80 :rolleye:
I literally live in the middle of nowhere dude. It takes me 15 minutes to drive to a town that has one road down the middle as the middle of the damn thing. Less than 2000 people living in the town and the high school pulls from 10 other towns and only has 250 kids. It takes me 40 minutes to drive to the next town over which only has like maybe 50,000 people. There isn't shit for jobs there. The classifieds section for jobs is like half a page on sundays
My job is to find people jobs, and all of the complaining you just did is boring stuff I hear day in, day out. What you meant to say is "There are jobs but I don't really want one so I haven't bothered yet." You can drive, you can get a job.
bluepoof
You fucking wish.
