Snapshots are testable versions of what the developers are currently working on in the development of minecraft. They release almost every week on Thursdays. This server will be white-listed for obvious reasons. [B]IP - Snapshot.Crookedcraft.com[/B] You must download the current Snapshot client to join the server [B]How to Join[/B] 1. Fill out the Whitelist form at the end of this post in a reply 2. Back-up your current Minecraft Files 3. Download the latest Snapshot from [URL="http://mojang.com"]Mojang.com[/URL] - Currently 12w36a 4. Replace the old Minecraft.jar with the new snapshot version 5. Why do you need all that stuff in the White-list application? Why does it need to be an application why can't we just say our Minecraft usernames?

If this is something you are interested in then a small application should not be a problem. In your case your post count is pretty solid here so approving your application would be easy. We are also weary of griefers and most the time a white list will just bore them.

Just saying your username enough keeps most of the griefers away and using an anti-griefing plugin like Bigbrother is even better. Craftbukkit will not support Snapshots. this has been stated in the community several times. This is a one time application. this server will run as long as snapshots are made. The application process is only 5 minutes. I'd like to join, solely because this is the only snapshot server I've seen submitted to Facepunch. However, in way of protesting that absurd white-list application, here's mine: Ingame Name: Artix3 Frankly, if you won't accept that, you're not only losing me as a player but countless other FPers.

There are no anti-griefing plugins or a chest locking plugin on this server. This won't end well.

I have switched the server over to a dedicated IP. no more is there a need for the port 25588 like before. the IP is now just [B]Snapshot.CrookedCraft.com[/B]

Also that server thing where it pastes your website, is really fucking annoying.

Started playing. Kinda surprised at the 100 player limit considering I was on there for two hours alone working on my base.

Also get Dynmap for the server. I need a map

I will also be saving maps when we change them and posting them for download (in case you want your builds) but we will only change maps is the World generators change.
