• What monitor is best suited for retro gaming. (1985 -> 1996)

I've had an interest in building a small collection of retro games consoles recently, mainly all of Nintendo and Sega's consoles from 1985 (NES) to 1999 (Dreamcast) OH! and a PS1. I've heard that some displays won't output certain consoles well. So which displays would be best suited for what consoles? I've heard a CRT monitor (preferably a computer one, the TV CRT "Tube Screens" output an annoying high frequency) would be fine for some. I'm willing to spend up to $150 -> $200 on a display (only one if it costs more then $100) (User was banned for this post ("Choose for me/post a list of X (read the rules before making a thread)" - Orkel))
uh, what's wrong with the old CRT TVs?
Nothings wrong with them but I can hear the frequency they output and its a little annoying. If its the best choice then I'll go with it but I would be keen on other options.
*BUMP* Any particular model that's best suited for retro gaming?
This would be better in the Hardware/Software section of Facepunch.
