Can't Connect To Steam? - Games

Okay, so, I just encountered this problem today. For some reason, I have internet connection, but I can't sign into steam. It didn't automatically sign me into the internet (I'm on my account, just not on the internet, as in it says 'No Connection'), and when I press Log In, enter my account info, and press Sign In, it says 'Please verify your humanity by re-entering the characters below' but no characters appear. This might be the wrong thread, but I can't find anywhere else to post this in. Can anyone help? [highlight](User was banned for this post ("Not a support forum" - Orkel))[/highlight]

Steam servers appear fucked at the moment, we can't connect to friends either (by 'we' i mean ~5 people in a mumble server).

Routine checks last from 30 min to an hour. Sometimes longer since Valve. Fuck, so close yet so late. :frown:

Wait what? I just go offline (Unable to connect) and then it loads up the Store with the "FEAR3" image background thing....
