TALES OF THE DRUNKEN PALADIN Tales of the Drunken Paladin is an awesome Free RPG made with RPG maker VX for PC. TotDP Official Website A few years ago, in the entirely fictional kingdom of Maine, a political band of foreign diplomats seized control of the throne and began manipulating the current king in power. Plundering Maine's rich economy, this mysterious organization was eventually found out and expedited viciously by a small force of totally radical warriors, chief among them the protagonist of our story: Anebriate. Order was eventually restored to the kingdom, but the riches lost could not be recovered. Totally unrelated, Anebriate became absurdly wealthy and spent his days loafing around in his house, drinking himself into comas and picking fights with local shopkeepers. This story begins upon the eve of a series of catastrophic events which will lead to Anebriate suffering the loss of his vast wealth, his house, his memory, and subsequently, his impressive skills. This is a tale of recovery--not just the recovery of monetary concerns or memory, but also the recovery of lost humanity. Warning: This game should not be played by people younger than or equal to 16 years of age. Learn what happens after the end of TotDP. Strange things are afoot in Webber's frozen homeland in China, Maine. He enlists the help of Anebriate and the gang to check things out, only to find that someone with extraordinary powers has been terrorizing the locals. Upon investigating, they discover a series of clues which lead them to Augusta, the overgrown former-capital of Maine which is now a hippie colony and Native American reservation. These clues lead them to a revelation nearly as terrifying as George Washington himself: the culprit appears to be a rogue save hobo. Anebriate and company must enter the Save Realm and seek justice from the Supreme Save Council. Download link: BTiLC,M 2.3.2b (lastest version, includes everything from the original game) Trailer: Link (it's a bit outdated) Features of both games: * A system of mining, smelting and crafting weapons and armor! * Literally THOUSANDS of events with which to interact, all promising unique and sometimes profitable features. * Optional characters spice up dialogue and provoke decisions which may alter the results of your game. * Optional hidden bosses are a tough challenge but give rare, often one-of-a-kind treasures. There's even an angry potato boss! * Look at the world differently depending on the time of day. Dozens of time-specific events are happening all around you! * Tons of side-quests and mini-adventures distract the protagonist from his goal, and give fun prizes or even money! * Hundreds of unique weapons and armor are found throughout the game, making character customization thought-provoking and interesting. * A bizarre and one-of-a-kind story line takes the player through an interesting and comical series of events unlike any other. * An exciting side-view battle system complete with "ATB" and unique character skills, as well as a range of hilarious items with which to sustain yourself in brutal combat. Oh fuck man that first dungeon. I'm mean just goddamn. Shit went off and spawned 3 giant spiders and killed me in less than 30 seconds. My anus is still aching from that. This game is some serious fucking business. You can't just go into a battle thinking,
This is going to be so easy. Just gonna mash attack and be done with these spiders.
oh hell no it's not gonna take that shit. It will spawn more monsters than you can possibly deal with as an rpg newb. Fuck no it is going to turn you around, bend you over, and
FUCK YOU IN THE ASS.
Not even the courtesy of a reacharound. :smith:

Do that and you'll find a good amount of items, better equipment for all your characters and a another party member. There is also certain storage than you can enter at certain time of the day if you found it's key, you'll find some good things there.
This is fucking awesome. It's the best game I ever played.
I played this game long ago. Shit was so cash. I remember the background track called "Chill Pill" or something, that was awesome. Also the moment when he goes in the wizard girl's house, looks around in her stuff. If you open a drawer he will say "O_O" and close it. This game cured my cancer.
Giving it a try.

The trailer left me in stitches! HOLY MOSES!
Downloading now.
Its been hilariously fun so far, but I need help :v: That is why to much for a fucking book
There is a chest with $2000 + a decent helm somewhere in town. You can get to it before visiting larry's. [editline]10th May 2011[/editline] Use that gold to get the book to get the optional character. After you get that character you can get that money back by visiting someone at night. You can do all of this before going to eat to larry's.
I've been bum rushing my way around :v: [editline]10th May 2011[/editline] Oh and that FUCKING POTATO!
Oh, right. The potato. You should interact with it after you get stronger. Much more stronger. [editline]10th May 2011[/editline] Maybe I should write a guide of the game, using the original (outdated) guide as base.
Crazy lumber jacks look more like Arabic warriors then lumberjacks
Crazy lumber jacks look more like Arabic warriors then lumberjacks
Blame the lack of fitting battlers (the image of the enemy).
How exactly do you get to this chest.. :saddowns:
No clue, I'm up to the boat at this point. I'm doing relatively well.
How exactly do you get to this chest.. :saddowns:
Did you get the red key from that woman's house? If you did then go to the top area of the town at night and enter the room to the right.
Can i ask how do i smelt bars?
Can i ask how do i smelt bars?
There's a shop in Lichton(Sp?NAme whatever) The starting town...there is a shop there that will gladly take it. I also thing Gardiner(Sp? again IDFK) that crazy old man. Quick question...is there a Book I and II? Oh and, Lotion for the Ocean... D:<
Quick question...is there a Book I and II?
No, there isn't. The first game is Book III, you could say than whatever happend on anebriate's quest to defeat "Them" and their leader "Him" happend on the other two books. I'm almost sure than those are never going to be made as games.
Awwwwww daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn!
Awwwwww daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn!
Atleast there is going to be another expansion to the game, so if you finish it you should put your save somewhere safe.
This game is fucking amazing.
