There's 3 new blocks in the village picture (base of the mushroom, top of the mushroom and a red mushroom) and 3 new blocks in the ruins picture (stone bricks, broken stone bricks, mossy stone bricks)

Alright, I gotta get Google+. I deleted my Facebook because not only is it shit, it's owned by an evil company. This could be better. Oh yeah, these screenshots are ace by the way, can't wait!

The bricks are a good idea, 2 cobblestone (like terraria) should make 1 brick. Right now it looks as if cobblestone buildings are just a bunch of loose rocks thrown together.

I guess current mossy cobblestone will be less rare (cobblestone will probably turn into it somehow, check notch's image) and these will replace it as a dungeon blocks. And wait, the proper name of this thread would be "1.8 thread" or smth.

And Notch is actually doing stuff.
