This is a collaboration project between multiple FPers in the hopes to make a Utopian society, streamed and constantly updated to everybody else while playing Sim City 4. By the way, there is plenty of space for everyone. You can build as many cities as you want. This place is huge.

Step 1) Right Click on "Facepunch" in the folder marked "Facepunch Sim City 4 colab".
Step 2) Click on "Pick Link Source"
Step 3) Navigate to your Sim City Regions folder in My Documents.
Step 4) Right click anywhere in the folder with the other regions (Timbuktu, Fairview, New York, etc)
Step 5) Go to the menu marked Drop As, then inside that menu, click Symbolic Link.
Step 6) Wait for a shortcut to be placed, if shortcut has anything besides Facepunch in the name, shorten it until it is just Facepunch.
Step 7) Launch up Sim City 4, load the region, and don't enter other people's cities without permission. Limit to one person per city per time [B]OR THERE WILL BE CORRUPTION![/B].

So as I was saying I was running into a problem with the link.
I got the folder it's self synced up, and the files DO affect the dropbox, but they're not shortcuts.

Sym links wont destroy the source. Just hardlinks.
The problem is I still can't load it. I need to move it in order to load it, but if I do it deletes everything inside. But making it a sub folder is the only way I can drop it.

Drop it in the root regions folder. Should work that way. Meaning, just go to the regions thingy, and drop as: there.

So I got rid of Jolly Pines. I needed a fresh start with it.
For now I'm working on Calvin's Creek, it'll be a river side industry town.

Don't forget guys, if we build resource connections (Water pipes, power lines, garbage dumps e.t.c.) We can buy/sell from other cities, helping save space.

Hmmm, no "symbolic Link" shows up under Drop As... maybe It's cause I chose not to restart windows explorer?
