What kind of stairs to make to the second/first floor? - Games

So I was thinking; How many different ways are there to build staircases and stairs? Sometimes it's best to use ladder - but it doesn't always look good. What you think, how you build your stairs from your ground level floor? (English/German/US difference in term "First Floor") Post your favorite style and the most practical one. Picture would be nice - or at least good description. (Off-topic; Minecraft Wiki down so much :( )

I got it! Stairs.

Jumping puzzle to get to the next floor.

FiniteLiquid to fill up the room so I float up to the next floor.

I just do spiral staircases in 3x3. It doesnt go up high for the space it uses but it fits almost everywhere.

2x2 spiral staircases are much more efficient (in terms of space), but they don't look that great.

Get 64 dirt, look down, hold down right click, hold down spacebar.

Pistons to launch myself up. And then hit the roof.

i do a spiral staircase with wooden steps incased in glass. It's fancy.

I hate spiral staircases, makes me dizzy.

I spiral wooden stairs around a 2X2 column of whatever tree logs grow locally, use light-stone at each bend.

I use a trampoline mod to fling myself up to the second floor
