According to Notch it is okey to use the pirated version if it ends up in a purchase, often it ends up in even more. That is the logic me and my friends use, wich works.
In the end they decide to actually buy the game, and then the pirated version I got and sent to them have ended up in four purchases. With other words:
Hand them minecraftsp.exe
Talk with them sometimes about how you need hamachi and stuff to play with the pirated
They buy it
You can have even more fun together
