• Suggestion for Dungeon Siege 1 and 2 Multiplayer

Due to Steam locking multiplayer, this has enraged the majority of the DS community. I came up with this idea to resolve the conflict. Instead of giving us all the same CD Key and disabling multiplayer, why have steam create own keys and buy the rights from Microsoft to own DS's multiplayer? If they are worried about the money (No doubt Steam will be), add multiplayer as a DLC for $5 or some reasonable, cheap price. This is how the DLC can work: We buy/download the DLC. The DLC unlocks multiplayer and gives us a unique CD Key to use and the game asks for a CD Key when we click Multiplayer for the first time. What do you guys think? Brainstorm.

That's...not even an answer, unless you elaborate a little...the question asks for a descriptive reply, not a yes/no.

All they would really have to do is give everybody the same 2 CD-Keys so you could each use a different one.
Oh my god this thread is off to a horrible start. Anyway, I don't think they'd need to release a pay-for DLC unlocking multiplayer, it should be just an update that changes the location of the master server in the game. However, I'd pay $5 in a heartbeat just to play DS1 and 2 multiplayer again.
