I'll add more info as it hits.
Is there a trick to these types of game? It seems that I just flat out suck at these fighting games.
I'm more of an FPS gamer, but this game looks awesome!

The trick is to keep playing them until your fingers bleed.
Still no Punisher... :(
phoenix wright!
the only way capcom could make me any happier is by putting karin in SFxT
Characters and Features that should've have been released with the game in the first place. Yeah I think I'll pass this time.
why make a new thread when there's already a mvc3 thread and a fighting games general thread
Firebrand, Strider Hiryu, Frank West and Pheonix Wright. That's pretty damn cool, yeah.
Except Frank West was originally supposed to be in the original release of MvC3 but was taken out because his mass zombies lagged the game, and all of this could've been DLC. Dammit Capcom, you cancel two Mega Man games and now you continue making more fighting game re-releases as retail products.

To be honest this kind of thing doesn't really bother me, I don't mind spending 30 more pounds in order to get to play the game in february rather than november. Plus if all these characters were in the game on the release of MvC3 vanilla they'd probably all be stale by now, having a rerelease adds a little bit more life into the game. And I don't really agree that this stuff should have been in the game on release, Spectator Mode probably should have been but other than that MvC3 felt like a polished and finished game.
Holy shit, Nemesis, Ghost Rider AND Frank West?
I CAME BUCKETS. :v:
In all seriousness though, I don't mind paying £35 just keep playing a good fighting game.
Also, dat Ghost Rider level three. Sweet jesus, new main spotted.
This roster looked pretty stupid to me, but it seems to be that everyone has a couple of characters they really like. I'm sure someone out there is excited about Hawkeye, right?
Oh come on, how is Phoenix gonna fight? shoot lawsuits at people?
Capcom y u no release PC port?
Especially since the ports of Street Fighter 4 is doing pretty well on the PC.
where is geneeeeeeeeee :(
So, does this include the characters from MvC3? If so, this is an instant buy for me.

It's everything from the original with 12 new characters, 8 new stages, and spectator mode.
-Snippity Snip-
Is Ultimate MvC3 is the same game with more characters for less money?
I'm thinking about trading my original MvC3 copy to Amazon for $20 to go to the new version if that's the case.
Here's a list of changes from Eventhubs that Floe and other noticed.
• You can now X-factor in the air.
• Phoenix can only have one action per jump... meaning one fireball then she floats down.
• Characters now say something upon entering the screen when the previous character died.
• Many of the returning cast has new moves, or moves that act differently, (Ryu's Hyper Fireball now bounces off of walls, Taskmaster and Spencer are shown with new moves.)
• Ghost Rider has at least 2 special moves that OTG, and his two level one supers appear to OTG. His level 3 super is a grab where he uses the Penance stare on you.
• Strider is the first character to have two level 3 supers, (Ragnarok, and the Ouroboros.) Most of his moveset from Marvel 2 was shown. His robot animal super OTGs.
• Firebrand's level 3 appears to summon a computer controlled doppleganger firebrand to assist.
• Hawkeye's level 3 super OTGs. He fires off Antman, who hits the opponent, then grows in size and gives the opponent the biggest Monty Python boot known to man. Hawkeye has different arrows he can fire depending on the button pressed (frozen shot, poison shot, piercing shot, triple arrow, scatter shot, and net shot are shown.)
• Wolverine's Berserker Slash is not invincible and slower.
• Viewtiful Joe has the "Slow Dodge" move now. It's a special move that's super cancellable. In the Viewtiful Joe games, if you activated Slow and you got attacked, you'd dodge.
• Magneto has a new special move where he sucks you in with magnetism. Gravitation magnetizes the opponent. Repulsion pushes them away. Attraction pulls them towards you. His air-to-ground dash is slower now.
• Akuma's Hurricane Kick Assist doesn't knock down anymore, the opponent will flip out.
• Ryu can charge up his fireballs and they fly so quickly you can barely see them on screen. Charging can be done by holding down the button, like in Street Fighter X Tekken. A fully charged fireball will explode on contact, causing a wall bounce. He can also charge his Shoryuken now. Ryu can cancel his overhead with special moves now.
• Taskmaster has a new move called the Charge Sting. It impales the opponent, can combo into it. It appears that he can grab after his Charging Star move now.
• Dormammu's Flame Carpet OTG now pushes the opponent very far away. Much harder to combo from, even with an assist.
• Wolverine has a new move where he does a bunch of slices at close range, with the odd shoutout to "Swiss cheese." This attack is similar to Chun-Li's lightning legs, except it's with his claws.
• Storm has a move that pulls in the enemy and pushes them away with wind.
I also noticed that Trons Gustaf Fire assist is no longer invincible and you can remove a level from your opponents hyper bar using an aerial exchange, which should be effective against Phoenix.
No Megaman or Venom?!
