Ok to begin with. im sorry if im in the wrong forum or anything like that. but i tried playing from dust yesterday and i got this [URL="http://clip2net.com/s/17q7U"]http://clip2net.com/s/17q7U[/URL] Tried posting with the image button but didnt have privelages.
So. ive tried to reinstall the game, add it to exeptions in both firewall and virusprog. ive checked windows firewall and its deactivated. The internet FAQ is useless. they said hamachi (and other programs were listed. does not have them) could interfere with the connection to ubi servers. so i first powered down hamachi, still not work. i tried exiting hamachi. nada. then i uninstalled hamachi. still nothing. and i do not use proxies. also. the faq button leads me to a local file called netfaq.html.
any ideas?

You might have better luck getting a fix in the From Dust thread pal, a lot of people seem to be getting problems.

ok so i checked the from dust thread. checked all pages that was after the release (no use in reading pre release posts) and nothing about how to fix my prob. didnt post cuz there was already like 20 ppl (if not more) complaining about the exact same prob. thanks ALOT ubi.
u need to remove "hosts" from "C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc" then replace once connected and uptodate
