Hello!
I have taken a spare time to think of a good adventure map/custom map.
The map is going to be a BIG castle with secret passageways (made with pistons) and parkour!
So i was thinking of: "Should i make it in minecraft or in adventurecraft?".
I will let you decide!
Think of this:
Adventurecraft = No mods but triggers and such.
Minecraft = Mods like better than wolves, so i can make food elevator that has a secret and smart movement mod, so you can crawl and make it more realistic and such.
I don't think most people would be up for downloading shit-tons of mods to play a custom map.
I know I wouldn't.
I would love to play on it! As long as I don't need to download any mods.
Yea, axe the mod idea. Go vanilla. You'll start running into problems down the line when mods are updated and such.
I was working on an adventure map but trailed off on it.
Okay no mods. The normal minecraft, eh?
ps. i have started a new series on my channel with my friend BUILDING this thing. We only post a little stuff so nothing secret will be revealed, to much.. :P
I was thinking of making a map with toggle blocks mod and secret switches mod. Also I was thinking a new point system: give cactus dye for exploration and secrets. Lapis for general progression and etc.
