I think it's a pretty cool design, is the amount of gold you put in proportional to the amount of diamond you get back?

Usually I would put 2 Gold in exchange for one Diamond. For this this showcase however I just demonstrated it as a 2:2 Ratio. For a 2:1 just change the repeater next to the hopper to a 1 Tick pulse. Hope this helps:)
