I don't see why people can't do this themselves? Its not particularly hard to open the mob textures and crop out the faces then resize them to the size of your screen.

I did something similar for pictures in game.

The human and pigman are 2 verticle; ghasts, squid, zombie pigman (not pictured), and spider are 2 horizontal; and pig, cow, sheep, enderman, skeleton, creeper, and zombie are all one block. The skeleton picture is based off a custom skin.
