I've been trying to get Modern Warfare 2 to work all day from a fresh install, it didn't install the .exe files and i've got those now, but by doing that i deleted stuff from the main folder of call of duty: modern warfare 2. So it looks like this:

Could somebody zip + upload the .dll files and everything else in that root folder for me? I can't seem to get them by deleting the local content or any other way.
I really can't be bothered redownloading 11gb's of stuff again.
Thanks.

Go to steam library. Right click Modern Warfare 2. Click properties. Go to local files tab. Press "verify integrity of game cache".

It's gonna take a while but ok, i'll try it.
Right click on MW2 in steam, go to properties, local files, verify integrity of local cache files.
Hello,
This type of problem usually occurs when steam_api.dll is missing from your computer. This dll file can be downloaded from here.
snip
Download it and then extract the downloaded zip file to the Windows System32 folder, which is located in Windows Drive.
