I want to make a Video Game Development Club at my high school. The club would be based on the source engine since its easy to learn from and most of it is free, but there is a catch...
[b]-I can't download anything to the school desktops or laptops.
-I will have absolutely no school funding.
-Hundreds of people will immediately join since my school is mainly a jock school full of computer hungry nerds.
-I have no personal lua or any coding experience (except e2 lol) and neither does anyone or any teacher in the entire school.[/b]
The club would cover: 3D modeling in Blender, texture design, sound, mapping, writing, and quite possibly code...

Well if you can't download anything how are you going to do anything at all?
Put your tools on a portable drive and bring them to school.
Learn to code first

If you can't download anything then it's pretty much impossible to do it unless you have EVERYONE bring in thumb drives with the tools required (not going to happen)
No funding isn't a problem unless you need to buy computers.

How exactly do you plan to pull this off if you have noone to teach it?
If you don't know even Lua, how the fuck are you going to work with Source, considering it's in C++?
You can make it a club where you all share what you know already, and progress together, kind of thing. That way you don't need someone to teach you something, and you can be with a group of people at similar skill levels to you. Those of higher skill levels would then share their experience and what not.
So, you're the ideas guy?
Can't you make games in Love, only by using notepad and a Love compiler, on a flash drive?
It is also very easy to learn, and uses Lua
