I've Never Heard Of You?[/B] Well, you most definitely have not heard of us, since we have only just recently started out, but since then, we've created and uploaded 10 videos, 3 of which were of poor quality due to those being our first videos, and our mics being extremely terrible, but since then we have improved our mics, and how we edit the videos. We are known as TwoCertifiedGamers, it was originally created by myself, and a friend, Elliott. So far we've accomplished just under 1,000 total video views (As of 20th July) which for us is a small achievement since we are very new to creating Minecraft Videos, however with what we have so far, I do believe we have already stepped up our game in terms of quality and entertainment provided, because we both have good quality headsets, with noise cancelling microphones and that helps us record in much more peace, and lets you watch it much more peace instead of having to listen to constant static. [B]Why Should I Watch Your Videos? What Sets Them Apart From Others??[/B] That is a question you yourself should answer, because everyone has a different opinion on everything, and chances are, most of you who watch this will have completely different opinions, some of you may hate our voices, or just the way we convey sentences, and the others may enjoy listening to them, so again, it's all up to you to decide whether or not it's good! You already know that Facepunch isn't the public for this, and the videos wasn't even funny.

Only a few people around the world who play Minecraft have the capability to do something I can do and still make me want to watch it. Nobody has done it yet though.

The magic of Yogscast, davidr64yt (X#s adventures) and SeaNanners is that they all have this "spark" which makes almost anything they do entertaining. The fact that they are all a bit older probably helps a bit (rounded characters, life experience etc.). Simon and Lewis are nothing short of hilarious, the yogcave and israphel is original and awesome, then going from that with Shadow of Israphel and playing adventure maps with simons voices and their ridiculous reaction to creepers and challenges, there's no surprise they are so successful. X's adventures in minecraft were so successful because he didn't know what he was doing, the series followed his learning curve in minecraft and it was his first time, aiming for iron, diamond, a big fort etc. I only watched a couple of episodes of seananners so I can't really comment on what makes it great. The thing is though, you know minecraft and it's obvious, I tried to watch it, but it's just some people who know how to play minecraft playing minecraft, which anyone with minecraft can do. There is no "magic spark" like there is with existing popular lets plays. So, I don't want to sound like I'm trying to be mean or anything here, but I don't really think your videos are entertaining, and I don't know that there's anything you can do to change that. I don't think that the "magic spark" is something that can be learned, you have it or you don't. That said, it is just my opinion, and others might enjoy them. Perhaps you'll prove me wrong. I'm just trying to be as honest as I can.

Well I did think of recording this old Silent Hill 2 for PC I found, if it installs, because i've not played it before.

Fair enough. At the moment our confidence isn't the best, hopefully it will improve overtime. But some main things about commentators is their confidence in what they do and how they do it. I mean my voice isn't exactly the most exciting, infact it's very monotonous and in my opinion boring. But constructive criticism is advised and I respect your thoughts Jallen. Much appreciated.

Interesting, is this what you guys were planning on doing? Maybe you guys should rebuild the living house that repairs itself. Make sure its truly stagan proof.

People should reserve their opinion until they have watched 3, 4 and 5. The first 2, in my opinion, are pretty awful. But i do think they get better. It really isnt fair to watch some of the first one, not like it and come over and rate this thread dumb. We're all very new to this and my mic quality is shit, give us time and i promise we will get better.

If I watch the first of a series and I don't like it, I don't watch the rest of the series. You can't expect the viewers to be sympathetic, tolerant or reserved when it comes to what they will watch. There are millions of videos on youtube and people can watch whatever they like. Why would someone stick around to continue watching a series they didn't even like the first episode of? You have to make your videos make the viewer want more, ESPECIALLY the first, there is no "we're new to this..." or "my mic quality..." there is only the viewer watching 30 seconds of it, deciding they don't want any more and clicking away. Success on youtube is a ruthless game, you cannot expect anything of anyone, only deliver something that blows the viewer away, otherwise it's game over for your youtube career.

I only ask that people are fair. Like you, offering constructive criticism and advice and what-not. Rather than just saying its shit.
