Everything turned out great except for the mostly unavoidable yellow snow. : \ But I'm keeping with the motto of brown videos. Thumbnail should change soon.
eugh, looks terrible imo [editline]31st July 2011[/editline] nice music though [editline]31st July 2011[/editline] and the water besides that it looks bad
How do you even get that great of a framerate with all those mods installed? Jesus, that must be a monster computer...
Needs more bloom
The filter is annoying.
How do you even get that great of a framerate with all those mods installed? Jesus, that must be a monster computer...
Hes running on Small fog with a low resolution I bet.
Why is everything all sepia.
Needs more DOF, lens flare, bloom, and motion blur.
Shit. Doesnt look realistic at all [editline]31st July 2011[/editline] Actually, the grass does.
Hes running on Small fog with a low resolution I bet.
This is at 1080p 48fps with short fog. The fog is more for the atmosphere. [editline]31st July 2011[/editline] I appreciate you posting, regardless if you like it or not. I'm always trying to learn about what I should do next. I know people are against most of the stuff I do though, so it's understandable.
HOLY SHIT BROWN SO REEEEAL. No it looks terrible.
Saying "lol it looks terrible you suck" doesn't help. Give constructive criticism. I love the water and grass, just work on everything else and it will be good.
dat motion blur
My constructive criticism is to get rid of the brown because it looks terrible. That's pretty much what i was saying.
that water looks like poopie It looks like some kind of stock water texture for the Torque game engine or something. It doesn't really fit that well.
Remove sepia tone :)
My constructive criticism is to get rid of the brown because it looks terrible. That's pretty much what i was saying.
Does this look more like a movie?
Does this look more like a movie?
It looks like nobody took a shit all over the camera this time.
Alright I'll tone it down next time.
Does this look more like a movie?
It looks ok. Not all movies are brown.
You all are right I guess. I did over-dramatize the color. After a while I lose sight of my original plans when I'm editing.
Mind giving a link for the DOF & Waving Wheat mod?
Needs more volumetric light
Not gonna jump on the HD texture pack hatemobile even if I do agree they don't suit minecraft's style. This still looks fucking beautiful whether you accept it or not. I wouldn't use it myself but at the same time...holy shit.
Everything turned out great except for the mostly unavoidable yellow snow. : \ But I'm keeping with the motto of brown videos. Thumbnail should change soon.
"Never eat the yellow snow" And in response to your latest "realistic" minecraft, it looks tons better without the brown/sepia tone.
I actually like this, this is pretty amazing. It's just so artistic, and feels a lot more "realistic". My favorite part has to be the head movement, which feels extremely smooth. You could tone down the filter a bit, though :v:
In my quest to make it look extremely different I end up making it look too unnatural.
After using Photo Realism as my only pack for ages, I have finally decided that it really doesn't look better than the Defualt + Shaders, its not as if minecraft needs to be realistic, and ends up making your world seem really dark and gloomy.

[editline]31st July 2011[/editline]
Does this look more like a movie?
Now that looks pretty good.
2600k 16gb DDR3 1600 2x 3gb 580. But I've maxed out many options while still needing 48fps for motionblur. I have 2x2 SSAA running to smooth out the textures quite a bit.
