Steam doesn't like me :(

So.. I instaled steam last week and bought Tropico 4. Downloaded it and did not play because I went on vacation.
This weekend, when I got home the game was not on my game list so I checked steam store and the game was not able to download.
I would have to buy it again if I want to play it :(
And now steam won't let me add friends because I haven't bought any game yet... bye bye 45€ :/

So I'm asking you fellows FPers.. do you have any solution?
Or maybe a gift game for me :3 So I could add friends.

Got a link to your Steam Profile? If the purchase went through it should show on the list.

Also, if you go to settings, then click "[url=https://store.steampowered.com/account/]Account History[/url]" it'll tell you if the purchase went through or not. If it didn't you should find the money was refunded near instantly.

That doesn't work.

You can have friends with a limited Steam account, it's just that there's certain restrictions.

(Any free game leaves you with a limited Steam account)
