I'm, moreover the few of "us" are looking for one of the kind of search and rescue. Only to find everybody dead, and the survivors are all insane type of games. There's no specific requirement like the other "recomend me a game because i'm picky and retarded" threads.
Just a rescue only to find everybody dead and crazy while you try to figure out what happened type of games.

Umm... silent hill? Never got around to playing it, just but Silent Hill 2 a couple of weeks ago.
Condemned is a kind of "try and figure out what's going on" kind of game.
Nightmare House 2 is a great horror game.
