I'd like to bring up knowledge to facepunch of this guy named sacre's massively epic project, Newcraft City. Vecter City was added on to it to create Newcraft/Vecter city. But don't let me bore you with my words of nonsense, look at these pictures. Note the pictures are quite large. You can view the actual thread on minecraft forums here: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/140133-20-released-newcraftvecter-city/

Quite amazing isn't it? Help support this guy and give him ideas, he's very friendly to the community and has put a number of suggestions into the world, including some of mine. He even takes parts of your world and puts them in (most of the suburban houses are made bu other people). Just post in his thread or on youtube. Here's the link to the minecraft forums thread again: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/140133-20-released-newcraftvecter-city/
Holy shit. Thats some impressive stuff. It's actually a life-size city
:0
Wow, I'm very impress
Oh right, this map. It actually is a very great map, good job! Just, could you add something underneath the gravel driveways in the houses right outside the city so they dont fall into water?
wow
Too beautiful for words....

Man do I miss bad reading.
:suicide:
Absolutely orgasmic.
how he do dat
I love that airport.
The only thing I really don't like about this map is the fact that you cannot use it without using a special texture pack. I would love to plop this into a factions based survival setting, but pink wool is used as road in some cases, and it looks horrible in regular textures.
Other than that, it's amazing.
That looks fucking amazing. Looks like it took FOREVER to make.
...I want to blow it up.

TNT already set at the Lucky 38
I do this, but not on an epic scale like he has. I often make a small village with no inhabitants whatsoever. Minecraft has given me a phobia of being alone in a large area.
I was working on a project like this myself on singleplayer, but this just....blows mine completely out of perspective. Well done, truly, this is the best thing I've ever seen done on minecraft.
That is absolutely amazing.. The huge cliff wall sortof ruins the feeling though, but I completely understand why it's there, don't worry.
Isn't the airport a cut and paste from another map, or was that original map also made by this guy?
how do people have the patience for this, i get bored after i make a box with a bed in it
Nice RPing map.

It's alot of really big stuff, but i'm afraid i have to say it looks rather terrible.
Sure, limitations of the game and all that, but minecraft can actually look really good if you know what you are doing.

He cut and pasted it from some other guy's airport map after the two agreed to do it.

You mac using artsy fartsy
This makes me lonely. A massive city with no inhabitants whatsoever except sheeps, pigs, cows, and chickens.

Become one of them :v:
This is an absolute feat of brilliance in both architecture and artisanship (this is a word now). I applaud you and everyone else who worked on this map.
Winner Winner, Chicken Dinner.
This is rather awesome. Such a colossal achivement.
Is Grand Central Station in front of MetLife?
