My download rates in Steam are LOW as FUCK! I've tried everything, I tell ya.

Howdy folks, I'm here to ask you guys about something that has been bothering me for quite some time now.

How are your steam download rates? Because mine have been so low lately.
I'm trying to download GTA 4, and I live in brazil. I also have a 10M Internet Connection, and I usually get one mb per sec on downloads outside of steam. But for some reason, every single download of mine [B]ALWAYS [/B]gets buttraped by slowness in steam. I have tried deleting clientregistry.blob ( or whatever its called. ), switching content servers, tampering with the settings, but it simply doesn't go faster than 90kbs.(That is, when I'm lucky. )

Any ideas?

what isp are you on? they might throttle steam downloads.

My ISP is called NET. Used to be called VIVAX. And what do you mean by throttle?

Look at the current server load here: [url]http://store.steampowered.com/stats/content/[/url] and pick a server near you with the lowest server load

Tried changing to six different servers, speed still low.

Yeah right, like they (SPUF) give two shits about such a thing. I made a thread there two months ago, haven't got a single reply. So I figured I might as well ask FP about it.

Trust me, I tried SPUF. It didn't help.
