Hopefully this will get rid of "new stuff in valve store" threads.
Don't you think OP should have a little bit more done?
Don't you think OP should have a little bit more done?
Why doesn't the OP on Tf2 General Chat have a little more done? Same concept
so........ gabe n stuff
So, how do you guys feel about Steam's progression in the past year so far? We've gone from a new Steam skin, better community support, and a new pay system to F2P support and facebook integration.
The facebook integration was pretty useless to be honest. It's just a link to your steam profile. I digged the old skin better myself.
I laughed at Shitbanana
I'm honestly very hyped for DotA 2. It's now the only game Valve has officially confirmed working at, right?
I'm honestly very hyped for DotA 2. It's now the only game Valve has officially confirmed working at, right?
I thought they confirmed that they're working on Episode 3
The facebook integration was pretty useless to be honest. It's just a link to your steam profile. I digged the old skin better myself.
I like it since it helps me find my offline friends who don't always talk about their video gaming on facebook.
Why shitbanana?
Why shitbanana?
Science isn't about why, it's about why not!
Steam is down for me.
Just went down for me too
Frequent on and offs for me.
OP seems a bit empty. You could have made a fancy banner to take our focus off the lack of much information.
I thought they confirmed that they're working on Episode 3
The sort of have. Mentioning it briefly in interviews and stuff like that but always trying to steer the topic away. What's up with all of the mystery about it?
I'm honestly very hyped for DotA 2. It's now the only game Valve has officially confirmed working at, right?
They have confirmed that they are working on it. Also very excited for it. It will probably drive a lot of people away from LoL IMO. I hope it is good.
I just found this really neat mod and I don't know if its been posted here before. http://www.moddb.com/mods/zeitgeist/

I get 12, but HL2 is still at the top. [editline]4th July 2011[/editline] Also, Reddit.
So, I heard they made a Blue Shift movie. . . [sp]Heh, heh. Get it? Barney's Version? As in Barney Calhoun? He got his own game?[/sp]
^ that was extremely lame
Fuck yeah, downloading ACII because it was $7 on Steam. [editline]4th July 2011[/editline] It'd be great if it weren't the one day where my download speeds weren't absolute SHIT
Man. I've been going through the old WCMappack, and fixing up some of the maps. Tedious work, but worth it.
For once, I'm not looking forward to a Valve game.
I agree, I've never liked that style of game. Though it is nice to see them branching out to different genres. ....Racing game anyone? :v:
This is so frustrating. I'm on Windows XP at the moment and I'd just installed Windows 7 alongside it. I swap over and try to open Steam. Countless errors about everything it could possibly find something to have an error about. I go to the website, do a fresh download in a 'Steam2' folder beside my Windows XP 'Steam' one and let it download. It updates and I try to open. Hello, it's my old friend Steam Guard. You see, I started my account approximately 4 years ago. Since then, we've changed webserver twice and had the one which I first signed up with Steam to deleted. It is currently impossible for me to receive any form of verification email. I go to the email-changing section of the Steam tech support page and it says that I need to open Steam, go to settings and change it. Fantastic, I can't sign in to Steam to change my email address since my email address I need to log in doesn't exist. I'm now back on WinXP and am waiting for it to update with its oddly painfully slow update time. I hope to god it doesn't ask me for a special code for Steam Guard or I will fucking stab Gabe with his favourite steak knife. [editline]6th July 2011[/editline] Okay, it didn't ask me for my special amazing super duper email code on XP. Bad news is I can't go on Windows 7 to play my games, which is my only possible use for an extra 4gb of RAM.
