SuperMod Half-Life 2 Doesn't WORK!

Hello, i got a problem that i just cant find normal smod for hl2 that could work. I remember year ago i played smod tacical delta 5.56 and it had custom weapons and gore etc. Now when i try to run it i dont get weapons at start, i do impulse 101 and it gives only hl2 weapons and gore doesnt work :(
And when i try to download smod redux 8 the link is broken and i cant find a backup link.
So can anyone help me please?

My Smod Redux works perfectly fine.
I could upload the files but that would take a while.

Smod Tactical never really worked for me, but thats okay, i like redux more anyway.

When the engine update hit a lot of SMOD mods stopped working, when all they has to do was change the AppId. Tactical died from a leak of v.1.1, which was not much better than 5.56.

Download the source sdk base from tools, go into your sourcemods>tactical>scripts>appid
Paste this over it:

(At least I think this is what your problem is, have no idea what you were getting at in the first post)

It's weird, whenever I played that mod, I could never carry some of the weapons. I'd even drop all my other ones and try to pick them up, but it just never worked

Blame the Mac users, they're the ones who made Valve move everything the the 2010 Source build and anally-raped nearly all the HL2 mods.

I got the original Smod to work with 2010 Source. Just open the gameinfo.txt and change it to this:

Then I had to manually extract the maps and stuff from the HL2 gcf's and put them in the Smod directory.

I can only assume this will work with all previously broken HL2 mods, I've only ever tried it with Smod.
