I hope this will come very soon so here's the Idea
A Sandbox game in an big open world where you can save your game. You can buy a house and furnitures cars etc. in an open world just like in real life and the graphics are way better than gmod. So the game will be open source so you can download dozens of mods like new houses maps cars furnitures etc. And then there should be game modes like Racing, Real Life Roleplay, Physics Sandbox , Shooter. And tons of mods for all of these gamemodes. It would be an awesome new thing cause we havent got anything like this right now. Oh and it also has multiplayer and the maps are like from gta so you can go in clubs bars and go bowling etc. Citys are interactive with people walking around and cars driving. And a day and night cycle . First Person and Third Person view avaible too. What do you think? I guess we all wish this game so damn much

Sakarias88 made some glorious cars in his time. As stated by others, gmod is a game about making games.
Gmod is also the best place to start programming, in my experience. It is already a functioning game engine, but it hands all of its controls to the runtime lua environment.
it just so happens that hardly anyone is willing to dump the time into gmod to create a whole [i]game[/i], hence the term gamemode; anyone looking to make a whole game already has the experience to start from scratch, or is aiming way too high for their skill level (you can't make a full game right now)
