After finally bringing up steam, I try to log in and it says "Error Verifying Humanity." I found a thread on the Steam forum that had people who were saying they had the same problem however I saw no solution. Anyone know what's going on? And does anyone know how to fix it?
I am new to steam, I don't know if it usually does this or anything.
Also I apologize if this is in the wrong forum.

I...I don't think I can make it. Wait, if I had to connect to my steam when I started it up, why do I need to log in? For me when I click the steam icon something comes up that says "Connecting to account: Donutsalad..." why do I need to log in? Or is this just a Steam thing I can't do anything about?

I click the steam shortcut once my computer starts up. Something comes up saying "Connecting to User account: Donutsalad..." Then when that goes away steam comes up.

Either way, I still always have to log in when I go to the Community tab.

He means the steam servers are down and there's nothing you can do but wait for them to be fixed.

you serious? this has happened to me 2 times already and I think Vista or something has reset my password in some unholy way. so its just a steam server thing. god damn. I wish Valve would of made that clear
It's a server thing. It happened to me the other day. I logged into Steam fine, could chat, yet it took me a few tries to get into the community.
It means you're a robot. You will recieve new kill directives soon.
It might be bad to bump this but I got the same with steam right now.
