i seem to remember you could take towns and then own them as an extension of your capital. i recently reinstalled and am playing it once more but every time i take a town by force the populous migrates to my capital instead of it being a separate town from my main city. is there some kind of trick to doing this that i forgot?
You need to use armies instead of impressing the other villages :)
The tutorial explains it extremly clearly how to take over towns. It's actually a part of the gold scroll chain quest.
How do you miss this part when it is a main objective to do it?
