I've been hosting my server with Multiplay for 6 months and I was wondering what else is out there and if they are better. What are some of the best server hosts for Minecraft servers?
Servercraft is decent.
Try redstonehost, I've seen amazing prices by them and their products. [editline]12th December 2011[/editline] Hey, look. Their so great that their out of stock currently for USA servers...
well you could always try my company LethalDrive, but we're out of stock until Christmas or so. Our sales after we exhibited at MineCon shot up pretty quick and we ran out of room nearly instantaneously.
Brohoster.
You can always host it yourself, if you have a good connection like me (ADSL + LTE (4G)) and wants great control over the server, but LethalDrive is great! I'm just waiting for Swedish or Scandinavian (Or in Germany) datacenters
Thanks for all the responses, and thanks JWJ. I used to have a server with Brohoster and I miss that service. This time I was looking for a host closer to home and I found cloudcube.com.au. They are in the same city for me and so far the server is running really well (im considering renting a 2nd one for other means) Cheers.
I'm using Fragnet, mainly because its the only one that has a server on the same continent. Pretty close actually, in Sweden. No lag whatsoever, FTP-access and Mcmyadmin integrated into the sites control panel.

My server never ran smooth, and they always blamed it on my plugins, although when I switched to another server host using the same setup, everything ran smooth. But really, if you have the "skills" to setup a linux server with a Minecraft server, do it. It's really worth the time and money.
Daddycheese. Been using that, worked great so far.
Multiplay are good, and currently have a 50% off offer when you buy a server for 3 months.

When I had a server, I used http://daddycheese.com . Brilliant value for money and great server's
I used Art of War Central for my gmod, tf2 and minecraft server. (Yes I had three servers) and It's pretty decent.

If I hadn't already put down 60 bucks at cloudcube I'd be going with you guys. Cloudcube are great so far though. I'll probably be with them for a while.
Beastnode's pretty good, I used to be on Lethaldrive then I got my server moved to chicago and everyone lagged like hell and shit so I moved.
I can tell you that Servercraft is top notch, but their prices are a wee bit high. Their servers are almost 24/7 up, and they respond to anyone, wherever you live, in hours-minutes. I also tried server craft, one thing I can tell you is that they are horrible. They never respond to tickets from up to 2-3 days, and most of the time the responses dont even help you, or tell you to look at the knowledgebase.
ElpisHost is good. As is Phoenixerve.
