Now I know you all must have questions about this, so let me try and answer some! Q. What is Fiona Frightening and the Wicked Wardrobe? Fiona Frightening and the Wicked Wardrobe is a contemporary throwback to the oldschool adventure games of consoles before, Like Banjo kazoo, Jack and Daxter, Spyro the dragon etc. This time however, it's got a spooky halloween twist. You play as Fiona, a shy little girl who's magically pulled into her bedtime story book after it's villain, The boogieman, defies the narrative and steals the pages of the book and many of it's characters to use to rewrite the book in his favour. Using your powers, you can rescue the inhabitants, who'll join forces with you to save their world, by granting you new outfits that grant special powers! There's also tons of power ups and collectables, and none of them are pointless this time! So get ready to dress to kill in Fiona Frightening and the wicked wardrobe! Q. What format will the game be on? Ideally this game is most suited to the Wii U, so that's what we're aiming to put this on if we're sucessful. Failing that, there's the 3DS. Q. What's the story? One dark and stormy night, as a mother is tucking her daughter into bed, she reads her favourite bed time story to her, 'The Creeps of the Wicked Wardrobe'. "In a spooky town in the dark dark night, the boogieman sought to conquer the town and have it's citizens attend to his every wicked command. But a group of heroic monsters called the creeps stood up to the boogie, however, their efforts did not prevail as it seemed the Boogieman was just too powerful, even for the courageous creeps. That is until the legendary heroic witch appeared and defeated the evil boogieman, and thanked the creeps for their valour, allowing them to live with her and share her powers in her wicked wardrobe." As the mother ends the story, she tells her daughter, Fiona, good night and turns out the light. However, fiona does not sleep, and instead decides to read the book again herself, but this time… Something strange happens. The boogieman does not do at the pages say, and he declares "I'm tired of always losing just because the book says I must. I'm going to make this story go my way!" And with that, the evil Boogieman begins eating the words of the pages! Fiona can only watch as page after page is gobbled up, including those that have the creeps on them! It's only when the boogieman gets too full to eat anymore, that he runs away to his lair in the darkest pages of the book. Fiona tries to find any pages left, and fortunately, one does, and it seems one creep managed to survive the boogieman's wrath, Vampier the Vampire. With the other pages destroyed, Vampier looks out and calls to Fiona, claiming that she is the legendary heroic witch that the book spoke of before, and pleads for her help to save the world of the book. Determined to save her favourite bedtime story, she agrees, and Vampier magically pulls her into the book… And that is where our adventure begins. Q. What Can I do to contribute to this project? Like we did with Takaman, once the project has developed enough and gathered an audience, we'll hold a kickstarter/indigogo to fund said project as best as we can! So details about that will follow as it becomes available.
