Since the Minecraft™ project reached 10,000 supporters on LEGO® CUUSOO, many of you have been eagerly awaiting our update. Until now, the project has been in the LEGO Review—a stage before product development begins where a LEGO Jury evaluates the idea’s feasibility as a product and makes a decision. We're happy to announce that the Minecraft project on LEGO CUUSOO has passed the LEGO review and we are now developing a concept that celebrates the best aspects of building with the LEGO system and in Minecraft. We can’t wait to show it to you—but it isn't ready just yet. These things take time, so we appreciate your patience. More details are to come.
http://lego.cuusoo.com/ideas/view/4038 anything lego is awesome
Fuck yes.

Shaun of the Dead would never happen as an official product.
Shaun of the Dead would never happen as an official product.
Yeah, too violent, and it's very obviously a movie aimed at an adult audience.
Ehhh I actually like legos and this still doesn't sound too appealing.
I don't understand. Blocks based on blocks?
I don't understand. Blocks based on blocks?
Yo dawg, I heard you liked building with blocks...
I dunno, it doesnt look very minecraft-y. I atleast expected the bocks to look like the actual game blocks in some form or another, and I also expected a lego steve.

They serve to prove that at least 10 000 people are interested in Minecraft based lego products. The products themselves will be created by official Lego artists who will review the idea and adapt Minecraft to the lego art style. [editline]25th January 2012[/editline] I would say Lego creepers are a very likely possibility.
This makes me want to play with lego again, too bad I don't have it anymore :(
They approved it? As much as I like Lego and Minecraft, I'm not sure if I can say they'll go well together. You can already build terrains with lego, I'm not sure what Minecraft will add other than the NPCs
I predict lots of overpriced simple sets from this series
This makes me want to play with lego again, too bad I don't have it anymore :(
I have a whole damn tool box of the stuff. I really want to keep it for my future kids, but on the other hand I want to give it to my younger cousin once hes old enough that he won't try to eat it.
I don't want this minecraft shit in my lego. Give me more Bionicle. I can never get enough of that sexy Hau mask...
So we meet again, lego.
On a side note: Why the fuck can't you just buy a bin of Lego's anymore? You've gotta buy them in stupid sets now.
No one has complained you're all spelling LEGO wrong yet, weird..
No one has complained you're all spelling LEGO wrong yet, weird..
Maybe because nobody cares.
Isn't this like making Lego Mega-blocks? [editline]27th January 2012[/editline] I miss the older star wars lego. That shit was amazing.
On a side note: Why the fuck can't you just buy a bin of Lego's anymore? You've gotta buy them in stupid sets now.
you can buy a bin of legos, I've seen them at my local Target and Walmart
I wonder if water physics actually work in this one :v:
I wonder if water physics actually work in this one :v:
I don't know whether to say that was a stupid comment or ask why would a Lego version of minecraft use programming if it's actual Lego blocks and not computer generated cubes.
I don't know whether to say that was a stupid comment or ask why would a Lego version of minecraft use programming if it's actual Lego blocks and not computer generated cubes.
It was...sarcasm. And very blatant to.
I don't know whether to say that was a stupid comment or ask why would a Lego version of minecraft use programming if it's actual Lego blocks and not computer generated cubes.
I seriously hope you're trolling. Nobody can be that dumb. ...right?
Only £15,000 That's roughly how much LEGOs cost when I was a little kid anyway, that price probably needs adjusting for inflation.
it should be quite cheap, the reason most licensed lego is so much is the licence owner wants LOADS A MONEY but if Mojang are giving the money away they should be the same as regular legos
I seriously hope you're trolling. Nobody can be that dumb. ...right?
Trust me from how I read that THE SARCASTIC QUOTE WAS DUMB.
