Earlier today, I reinstalled L4D2 because I wanted to try it out again. After it finished installing, I started it up, only to find that I had a problem with a notification.

I can't click on anything or change the gamemode and the only way to exit the game is to end the task in the Task Manager. None of my friends have L4D2 installed, so I wasn't able to try anything with them. I've been trying to fix this all day. (By the way, why isn't there a L4D/L4D2 Megathread?)
There is a megathread are you blind, we've had one since February

It's fine, I just get annoyed with the constant threads we get that are in the wrong section
