I got a little bored over the weekend and decided to write a script for a mate, that script then became a program named EziGUI: Source. EziGUI: Source allows you to easily modify the main menus of your favourite Source games.
Don't worry about converting image files to .vtf for backgrounds, navigating through folders and manually editing files. EziGUI: Source will do it all for you.
Mods Available:
- Main menu background image
- Main menu button text
- Main menu button text colour *
*May not be supported on all games
Titles Supported:
- Counter Strike: Source
- Day of Defeat: Source
- Team Fortress 2
By mid-March I hope to launch EziGUI: Source v2.0 which will support more game titles including, but not limited to, the Half Life 2 series and Counter Strike: Global Offensive.

Doesn't offer a lot, and it's just basic change of strings. Might make a 2 second job a 1 second job.
Need to add the ability to change the font and the position of the txt, this could be an awesome tool with a few new functions, have you considered a hud editor?
Shounic while it doesn't make it amazingly faster then doing it manually it still makes it faster but the main idea was to allow non-literate computer users who enjoy playing video games to edit their main menus etc without having to go through and do everything manually.
Yeah Zero Hour I have but at the moment I am working on a much bigger project for the source community, this is just a little thing I did when I was bored.
Yes, but how is this practical? What use do you have for changed strings???
What are you talking about, the program allows a user who may not know how to change their background, text settings etc to do so without actually having to do so much as find a background image. That's why its practical!
